Auswide Vanlines services hundreds of customers every year all around Australia, our trucks are continually rolling, helping customers as smoothly as possible.

Unfortunately from time to time we do experience oddities during the moving process these may include. Unexpected delays in pickup / delivery, property damage and itinerary changes. Rest assured, we do our best to correct these oddities as quickly as possible.

Unexpected Delays in Pickups / Deliveries

Logistically speaking there are sometimes delays to the pickup up / delivery schedule due to factors outside of our control. Traffic, access and pre-job delays can impact are just some of the things that can impact a move.

During backload moves it is more common to experience delays as we may need to unload/unload another job before being able to connect to your job.

For these reasons we do ask customers to be flexible with pickup / delivery times. If you have any questions or need to confirm any times please ensure you contact us with plenty of notice, during normal business hours.

Property Damage

While it’s not a very common occurrence occasionally property will be damaged or misdirected during transit. While we take every precaution to minimize the risk of this occurring it is part of the parcel when dealing with long transits, connections and loads.

To minimize this we encourage extra care to be taken when packing goods. Use corner protectors, bubble wrap and cushion materials. Don’t half load boxes (so things can rattle) and make sure you have a thorough itinerary of what went on the truck.

Auswide Vanlines recommends appropriate moving/removalist/transit insurance is utilized to ensure there are no lasting issues in the unlikely event something does happen.

Load Changes

When we quote on removal jobs we ask that clients are accurate with their load details. We use this list as a guide during the removal process so it’s extremely important it’s accurate. Any modifications should be reported to Auswide Vanlines before the move has commenced to ensure a trouble free move.
